While Katherine Cherishes Divorced Parents Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s Big Moment, Patrick Finds Something Special in Rare Pictures From Past

Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably the only bodybuilder who succeeded in fields other than bodybuilding. He is a multitasker and a versatile public figure. The seven-time Mr. Olympia immortalized characters in movies like The Terminator and was the 38th governor of California. Schwarzenegger advocated for environmental issues and he still does. The Austrian Oak brought many positive changes in California as a governor. He also proposed universal health insurance, among others. 

His daughter Kathrine Schwarzenegger recently uploaded a throwback picture of him. It was a picture from 20 years ago and depicted his time as the governor of California. Arnie’s children pointed unique things out in the picture. 

Patrick and Kathrine find special things in the throwback picture

Kathrine Schwarzenegger shared an adorable throwback picture from 20 years ago. It was when her multi-talented father was the governor of California. She shared two pictures where Arnie was smiling ear to ear while standing with his colleagues and his family. Maria Shriver, who is now Arnold’s ex-wife, stood beside him, proud and strong. The Terminator actor’s children were also with him in the second picture, while the whole family walked across the Washington hall proudly.

Kathrine wrote a heartfelt note under the picture, stating her joy and nostalgia. She reminisced about the two-decade-old picture and wrote, “I can’t believe 20 years ago today, my father @schwarzenegger became governor of California and my mom, @mariashriver, First Lady of California. What a wild time! So many people come up to me, wherever I go, commending my dad for all that he was able to get done during his time serving California and his attitude of getting things done despite people’s political party.” 

She also wrote about the power couple, even though they got divorced later, and said wonderful words about her parents. The author and wife of Chris Pratt wrote, “With my mama by his side, they were a dynamic duo for the state and both complimented each other as partners in serving CA. I’m so proud of what they accomplished during my dad’s term as governor and always proud of the work they both continue to do.”

While the eldest Schwarzenegger reminisced about her father and mother working hard, their son concentrated on something else. Patrick commented on the post, “Might have to bring the bowl cut back.” He might be on to something! The picture shows Arnie’s oozing confidence, which he was also vocal about in the past. 

Arnold Schwarzenegger knew he could be a good leader

Howard Stern asked the author and actor if the law prohibiting people outside America from running for president made the Olympia winner angry. The five-time Mr Universe answered, “It wasn’t.”

He thanked the country and said, “I felt kind of like everything that I’ve accomplished in my life… all because of America.” He also showed his confidence in his skills as a leader and said, “I think that I would have made a great president.”

The 76-year-old might have completed his tenure, but he still goes to Washington to advocate and lobby for programs he created as a governor. These include his after-school program for kids. The bodybuilding icon never stops being “useful” for his people. He has a life that is worth putting down in history.
