It's been over twenty years since the end of Voltron: Legendary Defender--and Princess Allura's great sacrifice. On the new Altea, she is remembered as a hero--a shining light to look up to. And while most people on Altea live in peace, with noble aspirations, there is a great evil that grips their government--something that has begun to ruthlessly opress magical Alteans.
Yaeko, a young Altean, lives a simple life. Unfortunately, however, it is an aimless one, and she yearns for something more. But when she confronts an old enemy, she realizes the weight of all worlds is on her shoulders--and the only people she can turn to are the ones she least trusts.
