The 44-year-old actor had documented his dramatic fitness transformation while making a transition from a ‘Parks and Recreation’ comedy role to the hunk superhero Star-Lord. As a part of the strict training regime, he allegedly drank 220 glasses of water per day according to the book MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, published last week in Vanity Fair.

Pratt also admitted, “I was peeing all day long, every day. That part was a nightmare” However, the information about the glasses of water is not completely correct because in 2014 Men’s Fitness (now Men’s Journal) noted that Pratt drank “one ounce for every pound he weighed,” and this is proper to what health experts recommend. According to this new information, the author of the new book said that they would fix the information.

However, if someone were to truly drink 220 glasses of water, as per Ryan it would cause water poisoning. He captioned the Twitter post saying, “Hi! Poisoning doctor here! This is not possible and is literally how you get water poisoning, which is really, dangerous to do cause it’s bad. He did not do this, and you should not do this, too!” Doctors recommend 3.7 liters of water for men and 2.7 liters for women according to Medical News Today. Chris Pratt changed his water weight as well for the billion-dollar franchise.
