The Governator often looks for newer pastures and is more energetic than some younger people of the generation. The man who learned to always ‘be useful’ from his own father has made his life worth living and remembering. Even with an injured hand, he still hits the gym at the age of 76 and remains a true inspiration.

Arnold is coming up with a new book named ‘Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life’. This motivational book does not only talk about his experiences but will also help others to tap into their potential and ensure the best outcome possible in their lives.

When he arrived at a recent breakfast in Santa Monica, his right hand was in a compression sleeve from a nerve surgery the day prior. However, the legendary bodybuilder did not seem to be in any pain as he cut into his eggs Benedict, and salmon. He simply declared, “Pain is temporary, but the progress is permanent.”

Arnold is so used to enduring his pain for a greater purpose that he hit the gym before the surgery and also predicted that he might be able to go to the gym again in a week or two. This resilience has always been there in the Austrian Oak. Even after having elbow surgery recently, it seems like he is as fit as a horse.

Arnold’s recent elbow surgery could not stop his gym time

Schwarzenegger recently had elbow surgery on his right arm to fix certain problems with the nerves. Shockingly, the surgery took place just before he made a revelation about his second heart surgery where the doctors told him that the success rate was only 60%.

Even after getting up from two massive surgeries, he was there, present at the Gold’s gym, exercising his deltoids. He showed this in his latest Instagram post, with a caption, “Comebacks are a part of life. I was pumped to get back into the gym after my little elbow surgery. What are you coming back from?
