Making his debut in the 2006 film ‘Benchwarmers,’ Patrick made sure to win countless hearts with his acting skills as well as the charm that he got from his father. As Patrick posted the images from his 30th birthday on Instagram recently, he could be seen having a good time with his friends and family. In a series of pictures that he shared, both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver were also spotted together, despite being separated since 2011.

The loving family had a meal together as part of Patrick’s 30th birthday. The family reunion came just days after Arnold revealed the complications that he faced during his heart surgery in his recently released book. Another big name that was spotted at the party was Chris Pratt, who is married to Arnold’s eldest daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger. The caption of Patrick’s post read, “Dirty 30s as they say?? Dunno where time has gone. To another 30.” Two of the members of their family who were not present for the celebrations, however, were Christopher Schwarzenegger and Patrick’s stepbrother, Joseph Baena.

Arnold talks about his personal life and heart health issues in detail in his recently released book, ‘Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story.’ While Schwarzenegger was told that there was only a 60% success rate for his surgery, he still went ahead with the operation in an attempt to live his life to the fullest. There is no denying that Arnold’s willpower to continue with his ventures in professional life is unmatchable. Despite the slim chances of a successful surgery, ‘The Austrian Oak’ was eager to take this chance.
Schwarzenegger pens down his dilemma
Despite being at the tough age of 76, Schwarzenegger makes sure to live a healthy life. However, back in 1997, Schwarzenegger was going through a rough time as he was supposed to get a second heart surgery because of a heart defect that he was born with called aortic stenosis. He explained in the book that he had two options. The first was simple enough but required Arnold to give up intense workouts, stunts, physical activities, etc. The other one, however, had no such restrictions, but the success rate was as low as 60 percent.

“You can continue doing stunts, you can continue doing sports, you can go skiing, you can go motorcycle riding, you can go horseback riding—whatever you want to do,” the doctor explained.
